Walking the Walk

20160531_081543So, what does a person do when they strongly dislike sitting in traffic and live very close to where they work? For me the options would be taxi, transit, bike, walk. Ah-ha! Walking suits me just fine. Off we go…

January 18th, 2016 was my start date. Since then I have:

  • Walked 289 miles
  • Healed many minor injuries (tennis elbow, minor aches and pains, clearing brain fog,  skin patches, etc.)
  • Gained a level of fitness that I haven’t experienced in a very long time
  • Trained for a pack-in-pack-out camp
  • Conquered my fear of heights
  • Avoided commutting for 68 work days
  • Started physio
